SAFETY RECALL

SNOOZ Recalls Breez 2-in-1 Bedroom Fans Over Overheating and Fire Reports

  1. CPSC recall #26-388, dated April 9, 2026, covers about 11,900 Breez 2-in-1 Smart Bedroom Fan and White Noise Machines sold online from June 2023 through December 2025.
  2. A corroded power connector inside the fan can cause it to overheat; SNOOZ received six reports of overheating and smoking, including one fire, with no injuries reported.
  3. Affected units have serial numbers starting BZ10, BZ02, or KTCD, found on the underside of the fan's wooden base -- the separate Breez 2nd Generation model is not affected.

SNOOZ, Inc. recalled about 11,900 of its Breez 2-in-1 Smart Bedroom Fan and White Noise Machines after reports that a corroded internal power connector can make the fan overheat and, in one case, catch fire.

Why it matters

It's a good reminder that 'smart' small appliances carry the same electrical fire risks as older gear, especially units that run continuously overnight in a bedroom.

What to watch

Consumers with an affected serial number are told to cut the power cord, photograph it, and register with SNOOZ for a free replacement fan.
